Acceptance of terms

Using the Site — reading it, submitting the unlock form, subscribing to email — means you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the Site.

What this site is

2024autopsy.com is an editorial and educational publication. It analyzes how political commentators across the spectrum explained the 2024 U.S. presidential election outcome. It is non-partisan: we document and analyze claims made by others; we do not endorse them.

Quotes attributed to third parties are presented for analysis, commentary, and reporting. We aim to preserve speakers' meaning and context. If you believe a quote is misattributed or out of context, please email legal@pluribus.co.

Use restrictions

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest content from the Site (including via headless browsers or automated agents) without our prior written permission.
• Republish substantial portions of the report commercially without permission.
• Use the Site or its data to train machine-learning models without prior written permission.
• Attempt to bypass the unlock gate, access controls, or rate limits.
• Submit false information through any form on the Site (including using someone else's name or email).
• Use the Site to harass, threaten, or defame anyone.

Press, researchers, and academics: short excerpts (a few sentences, with attribution and a link back) are fine and encouraged. Longer treatments — please email legal@pluribus.co first; we almost always say yes.

Quotes, video clips, and other third-party material are the property of their respective rights holders and are used here under fair-use / fair-dealing principles for the purpose of commentary, criticism, and reporting.

You may quote short excerpts of our original analysis with attribution ("Pluribus AI, 2024 Election Autopsy") and a link back to the source page. For anything beyond that, see the previous section.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We work hard on accuracy, but the Site analyzes a body of public commentary — we don't guarantee that every quote, attribution, timestamp, or aggregation is free of error. Findings are descriptive of the study we analyzed; they are not predictions, professional advice, or election guidance. Don't make important decisions based solely on this report.

External links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites we link to.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pluribus AI and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site — whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that don't allow limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by that jurisdiction.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pluribus AI from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site (or specific features like the unlock cookie) at any time, particularly if we detect abuse or violation of these terms. Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination — IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law — survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection rights, those rights are not waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, post a notice on the Site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
