Narratives move faster than facts and stick longer than messages. They settle into worldview. They decide what people are willing to hear next. If you can't see them, you can't move them — and somebody else will.
Why this matters now
Most organizations still optimize for the media stack of 1998. Earned hits, paid spots, surrogates on cable. The sophisticated ones bought demographics. The most sophisticated bought psychographics. None of them bought the thing that actually decides the room.
Demographics tell you who someone is. Psychographics tell you what they value. Neither tells you what story they're already inside of when your message arrives.

We sat through 258.5 hours of political commentary across the entire spectrum — left, right, and the people who hate both — pulled 8,844 claim-level quotes with full provenance, and clustered them into the themes the commentary itself is already organized around.
